Guys but actually can you believe it? We took a break from the blog to move and renovate and recharge over the holidays, and it was the most bizarre experience ever. Instead of my usual days of being covered in glue from blog projects, I had dreams about wallpaper paste and there’s paint all over my hands. We haven’t painted in days. I swear I’ve showered. The magnitude of buying and fixing up a house for the first time ever, leaving the city, Christmas shopping, celebrating the holidays with everyone on the planet (it felt like) has us dragging even now, TECHNICALLY two weeks in to the new year (I mean, not technically, we are two weeks in, but I mean technically in the sense that it doesn’t feel like that, at all). So let’s just say sorry in advance.

ANYWAYS, the good news is we’re diving into the new year with lots of new goals, new announcements, new projects, and new stuff in the Shop that’s going to blow your mind (coming soon!). And how do you keep all that organized? With our free calendar download, obvs!

Can you believe it’s already December? We’ve had some MAJOR changes over at the Party Girl HQ – as in our HQ is changing and it’s been chaos. With our big move coming up so soon and our weekends spent freshening up the house Justin and I bought out in the suburbs, November has flown by. We’re officially in the holiday season (I would know, I heard the first Christmas carols on the radio today) and I couldn’t be more excited!

Can you believe it’s already October? I mean, I saw the signs. Pumpkin spice lattes are out. Starbucks has colourful fall cups. The leaves are changing. The white pumpkins are on door steps. It’s beautiful. But seriously. October.

I love October. I have been waiting for this all year. October means fall themed dinner parties with roasted everything and golds and greens and purples and pumpkin patches and wagon rides and outside smells inside and spiced pumpkin candles and it’s just glorious.
