Let fruit month continue with this adorable cherry nail design!
We’ve declared the month of May fruit month at The Party Girl, we’ll at least when it comes to our Mani Monday posts. So we are continuing with those oh so sweet nail designs with a super simple cherry mani. Now this is absolutely the easiest design ever, there is now way you can’t do this one. And just to show you that even beginners can try this design, we used some tools from around our home to get this nail art done (we couldn’t help it, I was at Ashley’s and she does not have the same obsession with dotting tools that I have). So follow along for the how-to on this cherry mani!
Begin with a dry base coat, I did a sheer beige nail polish because as you may have seen from my recent post (see pineapple mani) I’m kinda obsessed with that look right now. But you can do whatever base colour you want! Next grab your dotting tool, or pencil if you don’t own a dotting tool, and make two dots on the nail with a red nail polish.
These are now your cherries!
Next grab a thin brush and create the two stems that connect the cherries. In my case Ashley had this handy nail polish pen which worked amazing so we used that. If you don’t have a thin brush you can use a toothpick. You want something thin so your lines are fine and not too thick.
Repeat that process on the rest of the nails.
And there you have your cherry mani! How easy was that!
