We’ve got a super simple way to jazz up your Christmas table textiles today! In case you haven’t noticed, dressing up the table for different holidays is sort of my speciality. My Christmas table tends to involve a lot of sparkle (have you ever seen the Christmas Party Box?) so I like to keep my napkins a bit more minimal. This year I’m planning something a little more woodsy, and so was born this super cute, super simple Merry Christmas iron on download to make these festive cloth napkins.
I found these plain silvery-grey napkins at Homesense for $6 (for a 6 pack – thank you Homesense). I love how they looked very natural and elegant, but they had a fun edging trim of glitter that caught my eye almost right away. The Merry Christmas pattern looks classic and fun (if I do say so myself) so it will pair with any napkins you find!
To DIY your own, print out our decal (we’ve already mirrored it for you) on iron on paper and follow the instructions to apply it to your napkins. If your paper doesn’t have instructions (or you lost the instruction sheet ages ago – been there) here are the basics: with your iron on the highest setting, iron the material for about 10 seconds to heat it up, apply the decal where you want it, and – using small circles – iron the back of the decal for about 20-30 seconds, like you’re applying a temporary tattoo. Once it’s cooled, gently peel it away.
