We’re adding a twist to a classic manicure!
There’s not many things I like better than a classic french manicure. It’s the perfect mani to wear at absolutely any occasion, it always looks put together and professional. But while I love the french mani look, sometimes it’s nice to change it up a bit, which is why this half-moon mani is my new favourite look. It takes the classic elements of a french mani and adds some uniqueness to the look. It’s the perfect way to have some fun to your regular manicure.
There’s not many things you’ll need for this design. I used a classic white nail polish, a creamy/clear nail polish and a nail art brush to paint on the half-moon. Usually I use reinforcers to do my half-moons ( like I did in this mani) but in this case it wouldn’t work so I had to freehand it instead. It’s actually not as hard as it seems, as long as you have a steady pulse you should be fine.
Don’t worry if at first the half-moons look messy, when you add the clear coat it’ll smooth everything out.
Once you’ve added the clear nail polish grab your brush and some nail polish remover and clean the beds of the nail as you may have painted over your skin a little.
Finally add a top coat and you’re done! See I told you it would be simple, and it’s a super cute look. No go try it for yourself and let me know how it goes!
