It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall, which means I’m wicked excited and my entire apartment smells like toasted versions of everything (apples, pumpkins, cinnamon, marshmallows, etc.) and I’ve dug out the knit blankets and comfy sweaters. By like 1pm every day I have regrets about these decisions, mostly the ones that involve the knit, because the temperature refuses to cooperate all day, but for the most part, it’s FALL out there.
And what better way to celebrate than to give you all the perfect DIY to make your home sweet home even cozier. This “let’s stay in bed” pillow is inspired by all the Indigo adorableness I can’t afford, and is pretty much exactly how I feel every day. Because who wants to leave those soft autumn duvets? Exactly.
Thanks to this template we made just for you, you can use the Cricut iron-on technique we showed you when we made this equally adorable tote bag (or the instructions on the back of the iron on) to turn the template into a piece of art for your couch.
Basically use your Cricut to cut the template out on iron on material. Carefully peel the extras off so your design is left on the clear liner. Flip it and iron on the highest setting on a pillow case. If you’re crafty you can make your own pillow, OR you can save time and buy these premade linen/canvas pillowcases from Fabricland. I paid $5 for two of these. Sure as heck beats the price tag on the one I saw at Indigo – and my bank account thanks me.
