We didn’t forget, we have your weekend in Toronto all planned out!
We got a little late jump on the Weekender thanks to our excitement about the Party Box, but it’s still full of goodies 🙂 Still we’re going to make it short and sweet because we have LOTS of fun stuff coming for you!
The Stop Holiday Farmers Market
Stock up on local Ontario treats at the historic Steam Whistle brewery, with a wide range of produce, baked goods, and even gift ideas for the fam! The best part is you can sample some brews while you’re there and get a free tour of the gorgeous space, and there’s wandering musicians. Which is always fun. Get the details here.
City of Craft
I love the City of Craft shows, and the Winter holiday edition is extra special because there’s something so FUN about holiday crafts. This year’s event features a special Friday night launch party and over fifty vendors. There’s also workshops free tote bags for the first 100 guests! Get the information on their website here.
The Sassy Little Craft Show
Aside from the super cute name, this craft show is mixing it up a bit, in case you’re a little over all those pop up markets in the city these days (although how COULD you be?). Think of it as an underground underground craft show, with a bunch of super cool indie artisans and the chance to get some holiday shopping for that impossible to shop for person done! Get the dates and times on their Facebook Page.
It’s the holidays, and that means that The Nutcracker is at the National Ballet and if you’ve never seen it you’re missing out. My grandmother used to take me to see the Nutcracker every year when I was little, and it was a beautiful and amazing experience I will literally never get over. And the costumes. The costumes will haunt my dreams forever. Get tickets here.
Just a few happenings to keep you going over the weekend, but who are you kidding, between holiday baking and burrowing in cozy blankets (um, it’s FREEZING out there, amIright?) you aren’t going out until at LEAST April. What are you up to this weekend? Share your plans in the comments below!
