Are you ready to get your Irish on this weekend? On Saturday every bar in town will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, that wonderful day when everyone dresses all in green and gets super drunk in the name of Ireland and their patron saint. Here at The Party Girl we usually try to do our St. Patty’s celebrations a little more toned down (they usually involve mimosas and lots of green brunch recipes) but for those of you who are looking for a bit of a wilder party we have included one you don’t want to miss. Don’t worry, if you’re not into the Irish holiday there’s also lots of other events happening this weekend that we think you should check out!
St. Party’s Day
Hosted by Brassaii and sponsored by Carlsberg, this all-day party will blow your little green trousers right off. With an outdoor bar, drink specials, live music, DJ’s, and tons of giveaways, Carlsberg St. Party’s Day 2015 promises to be Toronto’s best party for everyone’s favourite day of the year. There are many time slots throughout the day and tickets range from $20-$30.
Beer Bistro Beer Brunch
Did some say beermosas? That’s all you need to get my attention! Get your Sunday fun-day buzz on with the Beer Bistro with hangover remedies to fix you up before you start working on the next one. Tickets include a beermosa and proceeds are going to The Regent Park Community Food Centre. So get your tickets for Beer Bistro Beer Brunch now before I buy them all!
National Home Show
I said I would do include something not St. Patrick’s related! The National Home Show offers Canada’s largest selection of products and expertise in the areas of home decoration, renovation and gardening. A range of exhibitors and companies will be available to offer advice including architecture and home design firms, construction and renovation contractors, home décor and lighting experts, appliance dealers, landscapers and gardeners, eco solutions and real estate agents. Admission to the National Home Show gives you same-day admission to Canada Blooms.
Annual Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Finish off your weekend with this years Annual Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The Parade will begin at Bloor and St. George Street and ends at Nathan Phillip Square. Guests will be able to take part in a colourful celebration of Ireland that celebrates the diversity of Toronto with floats, Irish Dancers, and much more. Make sure to bring a non-perishable food item for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
That is it for this weekend! Let us know what events you’ll be checking out or how you’ll be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day through our social media or the comments below!
