Get out your day planners, it’s time to see what’s happening in Toronto this weekend!
It’s Wednesday and we’re swamped over at The Party Girl, but obviously we would never forget to take some time and find out what events are going on in the city this weekend that you should check out! Here’s what we think is worth a visit:
The Baby Time Show
So we may not be moms, BUT we know some of our readers are, and we’ve HEARD that if you or someone you know is a mom or a mom-to-be, this show at the MTCC is the place to be. Think of it as like a haven for moms to come out, bring the littles (and keep them busy!), check out some new brands, and have fun. There are a ton of booths with new products perfect for the busy parent, as well as toys and games for the kids, a portrait studio, meet and greets with toddler favourites, and more. Tickets are $16 for parents, $10 for grandparents (and isn’t that the sweetest discount of life?) and kids are free, so get more details here.
Royal Winter Fair
It’s no secret I’m from a small town, so country fairs aren’t news to me. But if you’ve never checked one out, or if you’re looking for something to do this weekend (and November isn’t exactly a month of options…) than it’s definitely worth a Saturday afternoon. There’s a bunch of galleries and agricultural shows to visit, as well as a new food stop, family friendly events, a petting zoo and more. Tickets are available at discounted rates in advance for about $20, or $48 for a family pass. Get more details on their website.
National Women’s Show
This weekend is the annual girls day out event at MTCC. For $15 you get access to tons of shopping, food sampling, exciting new products, meet and greet opportunities, and live demonstrations. There’s also always a bunch of really cool contests and freebies up for grabs, and goodie bags jammed to the brim with amazing free swag if you’re there in time! Grab your girlfriends because this is a super fun event to hit up! More info here.
The Stop’s Winter Farmer’s Market
The thing I love about the Stop is that their events are always so much fun, while being good for you at the same time. A farmer’s market in November? That’s good for the soul. The market is always a huge hit and it’s worth it to spend a dreary morning (pre-brunch anybody?) at Wychwood Barns. Get more details and a full list of vendors at the website here.
And that’s that! Tell us what you’re checking out this weekend, and if we missed something let us know in the comments below!
