Fall is in the air, let’s celebrate with some awesome weekend plans!
Just because fall is around the corner doesn’t mean the festival fun has to stop. I have to admit that Fall is actually my favourite season, I love warm sweaters, hot teas and that crispy feeling in the air. So Fall weather or not, here are a some events that are definitely worth checking out this weekend!
The critically-acclaimed Manifesto Festival of Community & Culture features an innovative program of events across the city, culminating in a massive free outdoor concert at Yonge & Dundas Square in the heart of downtown Toronto. The festival brings together hundreds of artists and performers.
Pioneer Harvest Festival
Two days and two unique festivals! On Saturday the Mennonite and Pennsylvania German Festival will be full of delicious foods such as home made pies, cheese curds, sausages, apple butter and more. On Sunday, learn about historic and current food production in Ontario while appreciating and savouring local food delights.
Thornhill Village Festival
The festival will feature over 100 booths, a variety of food, beer garden, great music, some events for children, and more! Craft booths feature lockets and charms, jewellery, oil painting, handmade bags, mosaic work of glass tiles and ceramic, and other pieces.
