We know we said we were taking the week off but we had to take a break from all those cupcake toppers to share some more details of where you’ll find us this weekend! So today’s weekender is a special edition – we’re telling you the ONLY thing you should check out this weekend: us, at Trinity Bellwoods Flea.
We’ve been huge TBF fans, and you’ve probably caught their deal on the weekender before, mostly because, well, we’re obsessed. And why not make our first debut as Shop vendors at something we love? So we’re bringing The Party Girl out to 824 Dundas St W. in Toronto Saturday August 22 11-6, and here’s why you should come say hi!
First of all, all my favourite vendors are coming to TBF. I stalked Crass Stitches to Midnight MRKT in the winter and scored the funniest little piece of art of life (that I can’t obviously share with you but let’s say it starts with a C and rhymes with “punt”) that I keep on my desk (Justin and my mother share varying degrees of reluctant amusement about that).
I also convinced Justin to let me buy a super pretty watercolour yoga mat bag from Half Past Zen at that same market, so it was sort of a miracle night. I blame the beer for Just’s sudden enthusiasm.
Another time I wandered into the sweetest little Queen St W. shop and found this gorgeous soy candle from Malee By Nature, and almost hated to set it on fire because of how pretty it was. I did though. It smelled insanely nice.
Of course there is literally no point in going anywhere in this ridic heat without Ice Pops Toronto, so there’s that.
And last but not least (mostly because I promised I’d stop after three and I’m still going and am neglecting so many Shop items) my love for donuts has been well documented on this blog. It’s a weakness, and also maybe my superhero skill because I can track down the best donuts in any locale, even if I’ve never been. If that’s not a superpower I’m not sure what the point of superpowers is. Anyways, you can catch THE most famous donut c/o Miche Bakery – the Homer. Day. Made.
Hope to see you there!
