We’re gearing up for the long weekend with our top events to check out!
It’s Easter this weekend, which means must of us will be getting ready for holiday dinners with family. So if you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family this weekend we have a really cool event you should go to. Now because I know some people don’t celebrate Easter, I also included non-holiday events to check out (did we mention one of them involves beer…) So read along for our top must-see events happening this weekend!
Everything Easter is Toronto’s newest Easter Egg Hunt to take place on April 4th 2015 at Fort York. This fundraising event is being planned by the final year Special Event Student’s from George Brown College’s Special Events Program. Half of the proceeds will be going to the Ronald McDonald House Charity and half will be going towards bursaries for GBC students. There will be an Easter egg hunt, crafts, egg race, raffle and much more. Join them with your WHOLE FAMILY to enjoy Fort York’s Easter Egg Hunt!
The Bad Dog Theatre Company’s Flagship show, Theatresports has been making Toronto audiences laugh for 30 years… Theatresports mixes the edge of your seat thrill of improv with the crowd rousing energy of a sporting event, that puts you in the middle of the side splitting scenes.
The Brewer’s Backyard returns on Good Friday with their next event entitled Great Friday. They will be welcoming six brewers, including Junction Craft Brewing, Mill Street Brewery, Grand River Brewing, Boshkung Brewing Co.,Nita Beer Company and 5 Paddles Brewing Co., representing some great beer coming from different parts of the province. And on the food side there’s FeasTO and Urban Carnivore serving up some great eats. This is sure to be the perfect way to start the weekend!
