Good Monday morning party girls!
Hope everyone had an absolutely amazing end of the 2014 year! Ashley and I started the new year by taking off for a weekend to Las Vegas and then to an event planning conference in California for the weekend. I know, I’d be jealous. While we may be in warm and sunny California right now, we know you gals in Canada have been suffering a pretty nasty snow storm so this week we are doing a winter inspired nail design. One thing I will change next time I try this design is doing smaller snowflakes, other than that I think it’s a super cute design. So let’s get started!
Begin by painting your base coat. I chose a minty green colour but you can do a light blue, that’ll make it very wintery themed.
I began the snowflake design. Start with a white nail polish and draw one line vertically and two diagonally. This will be the base of your snowflake.
Next you will begin to add the small details to the snowflake. This part is simple but requires precision. You don’t need to add a lot of small lines, just two on each side is good enough to fill in the space.
Continue to add the small lines all over the design and you are finished with the snowflake.
I repeated the snowflake design for my index finger and added polka dots to the rest of the nails. And that’s the winter wonderland nails!
Let us know what you think of this nail design!
